Developing Android Apps with App Inventor is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) offered by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to give students hands-on experience in developing Android applications.
Robotics and IoT projects with App Inventor, including Lego EV3 robot, Arduino and BBC:Microbit.
The app, built with App Inventor and Arduino, can control the bathtub to heat and fill water and keep water warm, it can also do all these in specified time.
This is a simple project combining App Inventor and Microsoft Cognitive Services: Computer Vision API. The app can upload a picture to Microsoft Cognitive Services: Computer Vision API after the photo is taken, then retrieve information about the picture, such as a description, background color, foreground color and tags.

Beginner-friendly tutorials that are suitable for just starting out with App Inventor. The tutorials would be useful for events like the Hour of Code, where students could create an app within a limited amount of time.
This six unit course enables adults (mostly teachers) taking the course to work with students to build apps using App Inventor in a variety of potentially interdisciplinary settings. Its original purpose was to support Verizon App Challenge teams who want to complete their app.
